Easy songs to play on guitar?

So i pretty much just got a guitar and learned how to read tabs.. Now my only question is: what to play?
What I need are some basic and easy songs to play on my guitar

So, any ideas?

Pretty much any of the songs used in the 4 Chord Song by Axis of Awesome, but other than that, a lot of pop/punk is pretty easy to play. I'd recommend finding a song you like that pretty much recycles the same chord progression over and over, because if you're not playing music you enjoy, you slowly learn to hate the instrument (trust me on this one). It's pretty much how everyone who's self taught does it, you just find a song you like, open a chord generator so you know which strings and which frets you should be playing, and then try and replicate it, slowly progressing onto more difficult songs. The first thing I learned was Irresponsible Hate Anthem by Marilyn Manson. Just practice that riff over and over again.

Any pop punk is really easy, Brain stew by green day being the epitome of easiness. I remember everyone I know starting on seven nation army by white stripes, it's dead easy too.
Also roulette by system of a down, Street spirit by radiohead.
Plug in baby by muse is by no means easy for a beginner, but it's one of the best finger exercises to start out with.
