Easy Video Game songs on the guitar

I'm teaching guitar lessons in a role playing game kind of thing and I'm trying to find beginner guitar songs spawned from video games. Now this doesn't have to be full songs, if there's a riff that's kind of basic that works too cause I'm sectioning things off, but if ya'll could help me out it would be a wonder.

I'd start out with Ocarina songs from the Legend of Zelda series, then maybe some songs from Mario and other 8-bit classics and work your way up relative to complexity and not era.

The halo theme is extreamly easy and well known. Depending on what level you are at you can attempt the epic melody or you can just go with the epic harmony. (I'm not actually that big a fan of halo i have a ps3 i just love the theme song).
