Could be good, I would like to be good, I don't think it will be. Same for Damnation.

It's a spoof of action games, the main character having a fictional history as an action game hero. If nothing else it looks interesting.

It should be about sonic the hedgehog and how sonic team is secretly trying to murder him! ^_^

We need a resurgence of humor in video games - hopefully this game will do well enough that game developers will start to break out of the "space-marine-serious-business" faze we seem to be stuck in.

Bring back Monkey Island!

It does not seem to be the kind of game focused on selling to a wide audience, and that will probably lead to it being a flop.

But I might succeed, no one knows for sure. Ill get it if only for the laughs...

There's already enough action games out there with gritty realism. I want some humor back in my games

I have no opinion since I have so little information on the game. Every game still in development that's seen in a preview is the greatest thing of all time, and history has taught me that most of the time the best you can hope for is a completely forgetable game.

I like the idea, but I think they took it a bit TOO silly with the constant videogame references. The wolfenstein enemies are called The Waffer Thin, for instance. Hazard gets his shield power from 'Master Chef'.

The Mario and Final Fantasy- I mean, Penultimate Illusion- spoofs are awesome though.

PS: Dr. Horrible is in it. I forget the actors real name.

Meh, from the video I've seen they've put a lot of backstory and creative enemies in there but the game itself is still a take-cover-and-shoot-bad-guys game. They should at least have made the hero similar to the old jump & run heroes that never had to take cover, they'd just jump over bullets and on the head of the enemy. IOW it seems like a modern game with retro appeal duct taped on instead of a game that shows the clash between retro and modern.

You know, if you want to make a retro-and-modern game why not, say, make the main character a talking rabbit (whether you call him Roger, Jazz or Bugs doesn't matter) and have him obey cartoon physics while his enemies are gritty, brown-grey modern enemies that predictably splatter when they get an anvil dropped onto them or get hit with a 5 ton hammer. Your goal would be to restore cartoonyness which makes the world have bright, flat colors with sharp edges and such instead of bumpmapped brown-and-grey with plenty of bloom. Hey, it'd even explain why your character can take much more hurt than the evil guys because he only gets covered in ashes when dynamite goes off near him instead of blown to bits.

Oh, amen to that my friend.

It looks like a laugh. The only game in recent times to make me laugh has been Sam & Max series 1. Comic gold. Aside from that I can only think of Bully, that had some decent jokes in it.

I was flicking through a magazine and I saw the review. There was a picture of a guy in green power armour and a chefs hat. Eventually I got the pun.
