It is unnatural NOT to eat meat. Humans are omnivores and depriving yourself of half the amount of foods you should be eating is inhumane to your body.

A few people have already said my reason: Bacon.

Bacon is too amazing not to eat. Bacon is better than true love too, apparently, I have proof

Nothing is more satisfying when you get really hungry. Oh yes, that salad is really juicy and dripping with flavor... Oh wait, it isn't.

Prepare for 10 pages of "hurpadurp bacon lawl".
Just once I'd like to see someone mention "filet mignon lawl" or "seafood salad lawl" as reasons for eating meat.

EDIT: *sigh* I must have too much faith in the Internet.
EDIT 2: Let me add "scrod lawl" to the ones I would like to see.

Why not?

There needs to be an extremely valid reason to actually stop eatinq meat.
Nah there really doesn't.
1. Bioloqically able to diqest meat
2. Body needs nutrients contained naturally only in meat
3. It tastes qood
4. Less valid reason, but most cultures widely eat meat

so unless you were born not eatinq meat there needs to be a valid loqical reason to deprive the body of necessary nutrients usinq a method that has worked for tens of thousands of years

We're top of the food chain, maybe you wanna exercise your rights among us? It tastes pretty damn good too, especially if prepared with some skill and variety. And if we stop eating all these cows, pigs and chickens...eventually they'll grow too huge in number and consume more and more food and blah blah blah, to cut a long story short....we're saving the planet from a population crisis. It's a rough job, but somebody's gotta do it, and I think I'll help any way I can...I'll start now. By having a fry-up before bed :)

I was born with sharp incisors and bicuspids for tearing and chewing the richest source of protein on the planet. It is also easier and more efficient to use animal protein than plant protein for muscle development and basic body operation. Also I inherited the enzymes to break down meat.

It tastes great, raises testosterone, tastes great, is a replenish-able resource, tastes great, doesn't turn you into an emo douche, and it tastes great.

Vitamin B12. If you don't eat meat, you don't get any, and you eventually die. Also, sometimes you just need to chomp down on a nice, juicy steak for the simple reason that it tastes good, but the whole B12 thing is what really destroys vegan logic.
There are plenty of vegan safe B12 products.

In and of itself, there's no upsides or downsides specific to eating meat.
Yes there is. It's proof you're a manly man, who isn't a girly man that is not manly!

It helps your descendants develop bigger brains (Without Meat, we would not be Top of the Food Chain [http://www.berkeley.edu/news/media/releases/99legacy/6-14-1999a.html]).

However, if you don't wanna eat meat, fine by me. I honestly don't wanna push my idea of "Eating both Meat and Veggies is Awesome!" when you are clearly fine with the idea of "Eating just Veggies is Awesome!"

Eating things that are similar to us fulfills more of our nutritional requirements.
Fruits, nuts, fungi and veggies: Very little similarity.
Fishies: Little similarity.
Birdies: Some similarity.
Mammals: Lots of similarity.

Because while you can survive on vegetables, and it might even taste really good, nothing will ever compare to bacon and ribs.

You mean apart from it being a natural part of your diet? I think everyone else has covered aspects of bacon.

It tastes good, what could possibly be more positive than that?
Something that tastes AND feels good. I can think of a few things that do that :p

OT: I'm a vegan, but if you like the taste of meat, that's a positive, I guess.
I'm still thinking of bacon...

from eating meat(fish) your body can get long chains of Omega 3 without having to produce it from short chains which subsequently this is one a draw back from being a vegetarian/vegan.
