I get called weird by my girlfriend for eating pizza with a fork and knife instead of just grabbing it with my hands, though I sometimes do, and when I do, I eat it crust first. Is it weird that I do? I know some restaurants that give a fork and knife to you, but how do you view it, and how do you eat pizza?

Also, what bothers you about the way others eat?
For me, it's the way my dad eats soup or cereal; he slurps from the spoon which I find disgusting. I also find when people chew really loudly (only applicable to guys)--I can't stand it; or when people talk with their mouths full (only guys..).

I eat it with either a fork/knife or with my hands. What I do changes every time I eat it pretty much. No set choice. I eat it from the bottom to the crust.

Nothing bothers me about how people eat things though. Doesn't harm me or them, so I don't care.

Finger food, always. You may disagree with me if you please, but in the words of Bill O'Reilly, "You're entitled to your opinion, I know it's wrong."

Depends on the pizza, french/italian pizza is nigh impossible to pick up, so you have to use a knife and fork, otherwise, I'm just gernerating more washing up, so I'll pick it up.

make slices, and eat it from the pointy edge to the crust, leaving about 6 cm of pizza, (tomato and crust) then eat that

Largely depends on where I eat said pizza.

Sure, I've eaten a pizza with knife and fork, at restourants, and even one time when I wanted to give a good impression for a girl I later Barney'd.

Usually I just take the slice, wrap one side over the other (even pointier V-shape) and shove it into my mouth though...

Pizza HAS a built in utensil - the crust around the edge. And if things are progressing as god intended, it should arrive at the table (or better yet, coffee table / rug in front of the couch) ready-perforated so no knife is needed.

However the liberal coverings, thin crust and lack of precutting means I am reduced to using knife & fork when going to some place like Pizza Express that tries to be all high class about it. It's wrong, but needs must.

Well as a native of the NY/NJ area the only way to eat pizaa is to pick it up, fold it in half lengthwise and go to town, crust is eaten last as it is the main support structure. If a pizza requires a knife and fork then it is no longer pizza.

I'll use a knife and fork if it's available, I hate getting my hands dirty. If not, I'll hold onto the crust for dear life.

I hate watching anyone eat really messy things like BBQ ribs or something. They always have sauce on their face afterward and it really bothers me :D.

I shove it down my gullet like a man.

I do sometimes eat with a knife and fork though, if I'm dipping it in a sauce.

Finger food in most cases... I've only used a knife and fork on BJ's Chicago-style pizza.

Holy shit, is that some good, deep-dish pizza.

I think the same way. I know it does nothing to me, but I can't help but feeling disgusted at the sound or sight of it. It just makes me shiver.

I used to do that, until for some reason getting my hands dirty while eating started to gross me out. I think it was when I grew my nails out a bit; food/grease would get in them and it would be nasty to clean out.

Megalodon: French/Italian pizza? I was under the impression it was simply italian. Maybe italian-american depending who you believe.

Monkey man: that last crusty remainder is supposed to be dipped in tasty condiments. Or mayonnaise if you're feeling particularly crackerlicious.

CCountZero: "Barney'd"?

Oh, and isn't a folded-over pizza technically a calzone?

Depending on how hot it is. If it is hot, fork and knife. When it gets colder I use hands. In restaurants I would always use fork and knife.

Always with my hands, bottom to crust.

I really only find it annoying when others chew loudly. Nothing else.

It depends where I am, and who I'm eating with. I have a friend who I find quite unbearable - okay, so she's more of an acquaintance - and she always eats pizza with a knife and fork. She is very judgemental, and there are many things about me which deserve judgement, so when I'm with her and I'm eating pizza, I use a knife and fork too. But at home, or with people who don't care, I just eat it with my hands. I hold onto the crust and eat the pointy end first.

I don't really mind how others eat, but it does bother me a little when people eat really loudly, or chew with their mouth open. Things like that put me off my food.

Definitely with my hands. It's barbarian food, it's made for scooping up and chomping...

I had a housemate that ate crisps like an animal. He chewed with his mouth open and breathed heavily while he did it...
