This is a terrible day for all true flash animation lovers. He was one of the best, I remember my friend told me about him and we'd always laugh when we brought him up. So I guess I have to say thanks for all the smiles you gave me and the laughs you let me have Edd.

He was a true inspiration to me, when I first saw Edd's animations I started to realise just how much fun I could have with my own creative work. The wackyness of some of his animations, comics and other random images really helped me feel not so strange and outcast.

Edd will always be remembered for the great joy he has brought. This coke's for you Edd!

He was the inspiration for my animations. I used to draw like crap. All of my cartoons looked like distorted half-human half-squirrels. I looked at his style of drawings. I finally got the body parts right. I feel like I don't want to animate anymore. This is sad especially for me. People always say I was ripping off of him and now look!!!! He's dead!!!! I feel horrible for taking on his style of art. Rest in peace, Eddward Gould. We will miss you
