So I recently finished watching the Eden of the East TV series as well as the first movie (Netflix instant streaming!) but I still don't understand why Akira wiped his memory at the beginning of the series nor why he was standing outside with White House with nothing but his phone and a gun. I also kind of don't understand why he wiped his memory again at the end. Did Juiz do it for him as part of his request to become king?
