I don't really mind if they do all this extra stuff - what's the harm in wanting to expand the "universe" in which your series is set? - just as long as the core game (which should remain the focus) is up to scratch. As the new DX games progress and get closer in the timeline to the events of the original games, it will be interesting to find out for definite if Human Revolution was a prequel or actually a full on reboot. I'm hoping for the former. Deus Ex was awesome, and it would be a pity to just discard all the awesome stuff that went on there.

So, make the smartphone/tablet/tie-in books/graphics novels if you want, just as long I don't have to play/read them.

Captcha: dinosaur spaceship

A dinosaur spaceship however, I feel would not be consistent with the tone of the DX franchise. However, it does sound like something you could base a Doctor Who episode around.

Ok Eidos, what I want you to do is to NEVER outsource your boss fights ever again, learn that an A, B, C, D ending is bullshit if those choices lack meaning, and finally I want you to beg/borrow/steal/clone whomever it was in Obsidian that implemented the dialogue/choice system in Alpha Protocol and use them for all your new Deus Ex games.

If you do all the above I promise to pre-purchase all your upcoming Deus games.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution gave the player 3 choices (it was 3, right?) in the end. Making a sequel kinda impossible, from a story standpoint. If a sequel is happening it will render your choices meaningless. Then again, the choices were already poorly implemented, but you still had a choice. Now Eidos will be choosing your future.
All of the choices lead to the original Deus Ex.
