I have the game of the year edition of ES4 and I am trying to start the Knights Of The Nine add on. I have looked online and checked many guides and they all say the same thing.

"Speak to any NPC to learn of a Prophet in Anvil"

I have spoken to many NPC's and not one has mention him

So I tried the next step.

"Head to Anvil and speak with The Prophet to learn about the Attack on the Chapel of Anvil."

No sign of the prophet I went to were he was meant to show up and nothing.

Please, any help is appreciated.

* I knew when something wasn't up I should come here and ask for help, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO I had wait 2 days before I gave up. Thanks guys that was a epic fail moment on my part.

Uninstall, then reinstall Knights of the Nine, it may not have downloaded properly. Play it again and try to find an NPC

You need to keep asking NPC's about rumors until they mention something about trouble in anvil. Then and only then can you go to anvil where you need to visit the chapel. After that you can speak to NPC's in Anvil to learn of the prophet next to the chapel and then you can speak to him.

You have to hear about the trouble in anvil from another city before anything actually happens there.

If the game is on two discs the first one is the original copy of Oblivion, the second one contains the DLC which you download when you want to.

There are several things that appear in Tamriel as soon as you have installed the Knights of the Nine.

Check here => http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Knights_of_the_Nine for clues if you have installed it all.

Examples (brutally copied and eviscerally pasted here from the TES Wiki):
Also, some changes are made to existing places:

* The Chapel of Anvil is ruined.
* Gauntlets of the Crusader appear in a corner of the Chapel of Stendarr in Chorrol.
* Lord Vlindrel's tomb and wraith are added to Underpall Cave.
