Just saw this pop up on my facebook feed and I'm pretty damn excited.
Now I don;t need to worry about my possibly shit computer not being able to run it.
Plus it would benefit greatly from a controller considering how simplified (from MMO standards) it is.

Man, I'm hyped. : D

It says it an be played on all of those systems, but I don't see it mentioning whether or not it will be cross-platform. I assume Mac and PC will be able to play with one another, but would an XBone or PS4 user be able to play together, or with PC players?

It doesn't normally happen, but consoles also haven't had many MMO's on them before, Diablo 3 is the most recent, and it isn't cross-platform.

Wasn't final fantasy on one of the consoles ? I am pretty sure it was an MMO as well, But I never played it so I am not 100%

What about DUST 514? That game is on the PS3, and it is connected with EVE. I'm also pretty sure that some of the old Final Fantasy MMOs, (the ones ported to the consoles), were also connected to PC servers... I think they were?

To go back on topic, if that's true, then that's really cool! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'm even going to bother with the new consoles. For many years, I could not afford a decent gaming PC, so consoles were a convenient option. With the prices of these consoles increasing, and whatever perks they had quickly diminishing, I think I'll just hold out for a good PC. That being said, I think this might be a great way for more people to access the game!

I have edited my post, thanks for pointing those out. I was mainly meant to be using Diablo 3 as a reference for an MMO being on several platforms, but not being linked. It wasn't worded that greatly on my part (and I don't really play MMO's, which will teach me to speak before fact checking).

AND... the game gets delayed a year for them having time to build the ports.
Because you know, when microsoft pays checks, they can give timed exclusives to xbox, but when somebody is not paying, they remember that "platform equality" bull**** and decide to delay the PC version of the game a year for simultaneous release.
