Isn't unessesary nudity ALWAYS needed? (Example:Mafia II has Playboy magazines for literally no reason)

Ok, it may be a double post, but I have to go english nazi on this one.

By definition, unnecessary nudity is never needed. Try gratuitous. Or excessive. Or just a lot.

Very good, definitely worth a watch, certainly does have problems.

The animation and fights are spectacular, and some of the characters are great. Bandou's fantastic, of course. It's kind of stupid, and you need to turn your brain off sometimes, but I certainly like it a lot. Don't believe the people who call it God's gift to anime, don't believe the people who call it worthless trash. It's just really good.

If you like it, definitely check out Higurashi. In some ways, its like Elfen Lied with a brain, though that seriously loses a lot of the nuance in its description.

1. Yes.
2. Definitively, it's one of my favorite animes.
3. Nudity no, but gore yes for this kind of anime.
4. Meh, I prefer Nana a lot more (you'll see her more after).

Yeah... watched about 5 episodes now and I have to say I liked Nana And so far I have to agree that the gore is kind of the point, but I don't see the need for all the naked Nyuu? And so far the cousin (sorry I'm still forgetting the names at this point :S) is stupid. I have to say that so far, the problem with it is the character of the cousin and the excessive nudity. But I'm enjoying it still!

Haven't seen the anime, but I read the manga and it was alright. A bit fucked up in some parts, but not by any means the worst thing I've ever read.

It's nowhere near as fucked up as Gantz is.

Just finished watching it last night, loved it. This is definate proof that anime isnt all for children and that it can move really move you. Too bad there isnt more than just the 14 episodes.

Must admit, I was systematically getting goosebumps at certain parts.
