Elisabeth Greene (Prototype)

*Spoilers* Sort of.

So I have been happily playing Prototype for the past few day, really enjoying myself (getting a little annoyed by the bloody Strike Teams) and bam out pops the Elisabeth Greene boss fight. I have been trying for the past 2 hours and haven't done one bit of damage to... it? Haven't even got the 3 little bars down at all (if you've played it you'll know what I am talking about).
Has anyone else had serious trouble with this fight or am I just a 'tard and can someone PLEASE tell me what I have to do, game guide sites have so far sucked and not helped at all.

You have to destoy its 'base' then you can hit it a while before it gets up which does proper damage.

Also use devestators.

EDIT - which difficulty are you on?

If I remember correctly I took about an hour on it before just jumping in the the middle of her then using a devastator or two then jumping back out again before she starts coughing rocks at me, still took me about 1/2 an hour though (on normal)

It'll take a while, but here is the easy way to do it.

1: Have Whipfist.

2: Do whatever you have to do beat the first phase and make the military arrive. I suggest throwing a lot of crap at her, and abuse Devastators.

3: Once the military arrives, jack helicopters, then fly behind a building. Come out, blast her with heat seekers, duck back.

4: Rinse and repeat, going to Rockets when needed, and grabbing new helicopters as required.

An alternate option is using the Muscle Mass power to throw cars from a distance though the Hunters are a real pain.

I just kept throwing cars and things at her then running in and using a Critical Mass attack and the Blade weapon. Just recognise her power attack and dash out. Also, don't forget to use your main armour.

When the military come just use the tanks and helicopters where you can.

Blade tactic, jump off the tall buildings on the sides and perform the Y attack while in the air. At the right angle you can hit all 3 tentacles and do 4 bars of damage to them. Keep moving to avoid rocks and homing blobs.

It'll take a while, but here is the easy way to do it.

I found it better to bullet drop from a tall building then blade rush her, but I did it on easy and I have yet to try it on normal. The good thing about this is you end up avoiding most of her attacked while going up and that the rocks and or the homing orbs shouldn't hit you as you go down. However, it might take some time to aim the dive to damage her sections.

The most annoyance I had in this fight was the hunters every 10 seconds. I kept throwing rubble at its base until the army came and then I used a tank.

use the blades jumping attack and its really easy

just run in and use the tendril barrage devastator, gets the job done, quick and easy.

Thanks for all the assistance guys, I am gonna go back on it now and show that crazy blog how its done... Maybe. That's if the constantly spawning hunters don't make me eat my controller in a rage.

Jump from a tall building and use the aerial groundspike devastator, hit her while she's down and then repeat. Also use hunters to regenerate, also this involves a high level of risk since you can't dodge while flying down at her but even if you get hit by a rock/blob you should be able to retreat and attemt again, ya just got to wait for the right moment to jump and activate the devastator.
