The game would be VERY different if elizabeth was the main character. No guns, no being an outsider and no rescue either

Booker is a pretty good character too, he's not just the silent protagonist.

Oh yeah, I'm sure he's groovy, and judging by reviews the game is fantastic. All I'm saying is that I personally am hesitant to buy it because of the way the protagonists are set up. I'm sure I'll buy it when it eventually goes on sale, and be completely wowed by how majestic it is, but it's not a 60$ purchase for me.

Though a game where you play the cool magic lady and have to avoid fire while an NPC is the gunbro might be interesting actually.

Has anyone here seen the statistics of Bioshock Infinite? It said that Booker and Elizabeth make up about 30% of all the lines in the game with Booker taking second place in the total number of lines. He has literally thousands. I highly doubt that someone with thousands of lines can be that generic, especially in a Bioshock game.

From what I've seen so far (about two hours into the game) Booker seems to have quite a developed personality, if somewhat stereotyped into the whole "misanthropic loner"-trope. Still whoever voice acts hims does a stellar job of delivering even simple lines with enough gusto that you can feel Booker has a distinct personality.

That would be interesting, but it wouldn't be a shock game
