I actually had the same situation with Final Fantasy, but now i´ve finsished 7 and 8.
My very first videogame was Wario Land 2. A great introduction for me, still a favotite
When i couldn´t manage a high jump, I turned the Game Boy up side down in order to increase my jumping height
After a bunch of succesful levels i confronted a snake boss, I hited him ones, which up to that point killed every enemy if you choose the right attack.
With no result, so I came to the conclusion that the snake is not meant to be killed...
Not to far fetched if you comsider that the snake wouldn´t kill you either but instead turned you into a egg. So i gave up and restarted the game because i couldn´t figure out the non existing puzzle.
I was so new to the concept of bosses
At my 10th birthdayparty a friend showed me the secret of monsters that need multiple hits...
Nothing new embarassing stuff though...playing everything on max difficulty available, that´s what growing up is all about!
