Being Irish, I am keenly aware of the fact that my country has economically screwed the pooch, and my time in full-time education is soon to end. As such, I'm trying to figure out where would be a good country to immigrate to.

So I pose the question to you Escapists from shores foreign and exotic to my own (and those who have dabbled in globe-trotting).

{if it matters, im a B.A Graduate, soon to be an M.A. graduate.)

Come to New Zealand, lovely place to live.

Fair amount of greenery, wildlife and very 'livable.'
[sub]Livable as in Auckland.[/sub]

In that Australia has an economy, yes.

I'd recommend Australia, or New Zealand, that being the country Australia worries might outdo it.

Alternatively, one of those socially advanced northern European nations, if they ahven't collapsed due to the GFC when I asn't looking.

It has an economy. Everything is also ridiculously expensive. The two are not mutually exclusive.

We'll, I have only lived in Australia, so that's all I can recommend, although
I am told that it is a good place to live, with our laid-back attitude and great beaches, it's pretty sweet.

Watch out for dropbears though......[sub][sub]hehehe[/sub][/sub]

Whichever country is most economical; a good place to start when considering Emigration is the initial costs associated, beginning with travel fares. About 400 Euros can get you from Dublin to Toronto, 300 abouts to New York City. Within Europe would be within the same about.

Why should it matter? Do you have a guilty conscience?

You can't get arrested for file-sharing here (I don't think), but it's still stigmatized.

Better than being arrested.
