For me, it'd be Inside The Fire by Disturbed. It...It gets to me, I worry about something like that happening to myself and my own partner.

Its haunting to me, I see an old man who is reflecting on an entire lifetime and all the regrets of his life. Facing up to his death that was to come shortly after making this....

Brought a little something to my eyes just remembering this one. =/

Maybe a bit of a different kind of 'emotional' than some of the entries, but I think it's an oddly affecting modern prostest jingle, at least in as far as touching on the cost to soldiers and families. I suppose it's unavoidably political, but the focus is more a sympathetic look at the poor bastards on the ground and putting a face on the human cost of battle.
