Emotiv=Next Gen Gaming?

I recently saw the Emotiv gaming system in action during a Discovery channel show and it looks pretty cool. It's a headset that reads your brainwave patterns and then translates it into computer code so that you can do things inside video games like, change the environment, move around, move objects, shoot things etc... Could Emotiv be the start of a new way of playing video games?

That would be cool, but its going to be a long, long time before they transfer that over to video gaming. Maybe mid next gen, but I'm not sure, just an educative guess.

Like voice control I don't expect any more than experimentation in this for a long time, cool though it is.

It's probably going to take a long time before this becomes what we all hope it will be, and then maybe we'll be able to create monsters in Spore 3 instantly with our minds. (Here's hoping)
