For what I see, it doesn't really matter. You both still talk, seems like nothing has changed.

If you really do feel bad about it, then go for it. Say you're not feeling alright with what you have done and apologize for your behavior. What's the worse that could happend? Maybe an awkward silence but you're showing you care and regret how you acted.
If not, then everything will remain as it is which doesn't seem that bad as you both seem to be getting along just fine after all.

It depends on how you feel in the end.

I agree with Aedes. If it's going to be weighing on you, then apologize in the most comfortable manner for both of you. But also take into consideration whether or not your friend wants your apology. Don't force it on him, but if you need to do it, then be mature about it.
