Before I start this, let me just say that I really do like Resistance 2. Its argueablly one of the best FPS' (on console anyways) I've played and doesn't bore me. Now onto one of only 2 complaints about the game: Drones and Hellfire Turrets.

They just don't fit with the Chimera. Nor does it fully explain how/when they started using them. I know you could draw similarities with the Stalkers and Golaiths, but the drones... they just kinda came into R2 with no explaination. When a game does this, i often feel its a lazy addition to the enemy count.

What other sequel games do you feel had lazy enemy additions?
Jack, Fable II. Nuff said.

How about the fact Liquid Snake lives on inside Revolver Ocelot (much better villian by the way), through his fucking transplanted arm!! That is still to this day one of the dumbest plot twists ever.

And I agree that they need to give Wesker a rest. He is to the RE series what Jason Stathem and Nicholas Cage are to generic shitty action movies.
If you had played through MGS4 like a good fan, it's all explained in the 17th feature length film in that game known as the final cutscene.

Lambant Locust in Gears of War 2.

They come out of nowhere and have nearly no significance towards the game. It's obvious that they will probably play a bigger role in Gears 3 (alone with those stupid Sires), but that doesn't stop them from being lame additions to the game.

Actually I honestly don't even care, whether it's swanp gas, space rays, or microscopic spores, I just don't give a shit. Also because I don't own a PS3.

I loved the giant worm, nothing smack Sci-Fi like a giant worm. And it came from the ground.

After the second one, I couldn't watch them anymore. And I actually like MGS! I just skipped the cutscenes when I realized they were six hours long, so I just sort of get the plot. I just got my friend to tell me the important bits.

I have no idea.

maybe instead I'll mention a lack of an enemy: the krill.
they made gears freakin terrifying, especially when you don't know about them and accidentally step out of the light.
yeah, that was quite freaky enemy.

OT: i'll mention a lack of an enemy from GoW as well. The Berserker. WTF happened to it? Was it killed in the lightmass bombing?
I was upset that the Berserker wasn't in the second game.

I was surprised by the absence of the Berserker as well. Considering that you stomp right through the Locust's home in that game, you'd think you would have seen more of them.

The Lambant Locust were used in the first Gears of War in the form of Wretches.

As for the giant worm, it is explained in Gears 2(by way of a collectible) that it was awoken by the Light Mass Bomb.

Oh yeah I forgot about the lambant wretches. Still, I'm talking about the lambant locust that form some reason waant to kill all the other locust.

And which collectible explained that? I thought I read all of them, but I must have missed that.

In Knights of the Old Republic II, I can't help but be confused about Darth Nihilus. I mean, where the hell did that come from? He just kinda... showed up and started attacking that place, and I had to kill him. Alrighty then. I suppose I could be missing something because my character was an asshole and kept insulting people and missing out on dialogue.

He just acted like Liquid is the basic gist of it. Or hypnotically brainwashed himself rather.

You ARE aware there's 2 years difference between Resistance one and 2, right?

I think it was the Locust Tablet found in Act 4: Chapter 6 in the room where Cole starts yelling out at the queen, it says the worm was awoken by something "bright and hot" which Baird says was probably the Light Mass Bomb.

RE5 "Oh hi Wesker! Oh you're back from the dead AGAIN? Well good for you champ!"

Also he never uses a friggin' gun when he's supposed to which would end Chris and Sheva's meddling once and for all (Those darn kids!).
I know. his existence and everything around it annoys me in RE5! I only hope he remains dead this time.

Captain Quark in Ratchet & Clank 2. It was a good game, but the plot was so convoluted and impractical compared to the first and third games.

That sand wraith in Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within.

I never understood what he was doing there or who he was but maybe that's just me being stupid.

Yeah, he didn't have a whole lot to do with anything did he? Which is really odd since he was touted on the f*ing box. You just see a few scenes of him flying around in his beat up ship for no reason and speaking in his incomprehensible language. And then he shows up for a titanic showdown, but it's never clear exactly why you have to fight him.
