KotOR, Firaxa Sharks. FUCKIN. They were easy as hell but I was always fucking scared of them. I thought for some reason if they got close enough they'd be ripping me up in a violent, bloody mass.

Tonberries are the obvious answer, but I can pretty much say anything tiny or *huge* later on in a Final Fantasy game. I'm also wary of every video game shark and velociraptor.

Chainsaw Manjis in RE5 Merc Level Ship Deck. Ugh. I've NEVER beaten that level. o_o
Edit: Finally beaten it with a lot of help from my friend. Cowardness.

2:Cyberdemon from Doom II. In Doom you have to kill him and you're in a big arena, but he was still a good challenge. Whenever Iencounter him in Doom II, my initial reaction is "RUN THE OTHER WAY!"
I'll always remember the level "Cat and Mouse" in Doom 64. You, in a maze, with a teleporting Cyberdemon. Oh, and you start out right in front of it. Freaked me out on multiple occasions.
Dang. Never played Doom 64, but that sounds like a level I would enjoy. Plys, the rset of it looked good, too.

My personal Doom game. Had the horror atmosphere of 3 but it still felt like 1 and 2. Major gripe though, they took out the shotgun's awsome reload animation :(

Don't know if anyones mentioned these 2 yet (too many pages to read atm)

Ghaleon and Royce from Lunar Silverstar. They were easier in the psp remake but only because of a new broken move making your guys invincible for a few turns.

I thought of another one from Kingdom Hearts again. Phantom.

This Grim Reaper lookalike isn't much of a problem offensively but his ability to use the clock tower you fight outside of to eventually knock-out your team-mates in twelve increments of time. And once they're gone, they are gone. No revivals, if memory serves. Its been a while since I fought him. Even worse, Sora isn't absolved from the doom. So, in order to kill it, you have to kept smashing him in, stop the clock and destroy the energy ball thing with elemental damage.

He is an optional boss though!

In KOTOR, Darth Malik, a slimy ************ he was, using almost dead solders to give himself health, [that's what im supposed to do!], had badass lightsaber moves, and a crapload of health.

An epic battle though, it was.

Bloodsuckers from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. First encounter with one of those things was the most terrifying things ever. So here's me just walking casually around some underground area, some bandits just sitting around being bored and whatnot. The first thing that should have tipped me off was the fact that I could hear dudes screaming in terror. I passed it off as them being idiots and walking into an anomaly or something.

Then everything when quiet, like I'm pretty sure the AI isn't that idiotic so I pull out my shotgun just in case. So I'm walking along admiring the atmosphere and I hear it. A low deep growl from someplace. I turn my flashlight on and start to look around. Nothing. I hear it again closer still and I start panicking. I run off into a corner so it can't get me from behind. I turn around and BAM the thing is right in my face... I then proceed to freak the hell out and waste both my shots and be clawed to death. So yeah, Bloodsuckers are just not a fun thing to go up against.
This, this, and a thousand times this! It doesn't help that you have to empty practically an entire magazine into them (and then some depending on what weapon you use), and they still keep coming! They are the true face of fear, and I give them the widest berth possible. I still haven't cleared out bloodsucker village, and I don't ever plan on it!

Scions from Mass Effect 2.

While easy to kill, they've screwed me over a number of times by instantly depleting my shield so husks can swarm me. Hate those guys.
^ Those guys are such a pain in the ass... Worse part is how long their health bar is.

It used to be the chainsaw bastards and the Krauser knife fight in Resident Evil 4, but since playing New Super Mario Bros it has become Goombas. Loaded it up for the first time and while I was waiting for it to start I was telling my brother about an article that said if you factored in mums and such having a quick play, the very first Goomba in each Mario game would probably have racked up the most player deaths. 5 seconds later I mis-timed my jump and got killed by that Goomba.
Starting the level again, and I once again mis-timed the jump and got killed by that same smug, little bastard.

I hate them with a passion and take great pleasure in killing the little bastards at every opportunity.
