Energy Drinks

I've only really had Redbull and Rockstar. I only really like those two. I'm sure I've tried others though, but I can't remember which. I normally prefer Fruit or Lemonade Rockstar, but the plain one has started to grow on me. Personally though, I enjoy a mix of the two. Either 1/2-1/3 of Rockstar, and then the rest Redbull. Helps kill a lot of the fizz I hate, and makes it have a nice tang to it.

There's a particularly good brand of energy drinks here in Canada called Beaver Buzz. Other than that, I USED to drink the Rockstar cut with juice, and I also used to love drinking Red Bull and vodka. Goddamn that's a good drink. But I don't drink them anymore, because my stomach just cant take it. Or rather I can't ignore the horrible burning sensation anymore.
But just so all of you know, energy drinks are DRUGS, even though it's not illegal and you can buy it at a store, it's still drugs. The way they're consumed and the reason they're consumed also contribute to this fact. So if any of youse guys are fervent anti-drug users, just keep that in mind. Whenever you go for that quick burst of energy or that pick-me-up, just because you don't buy it from a skeezy guy on the corner doesn't mean it isn't a drug.

It's scary to think how many gamers think they need to use this to game instead of eating some damn food. Hope no one here does that as a meal replacement.

I find it interesting that energy drinks often have silly names, like "Demon" or "Hell". As if it's supposed to be the most "badass" thing to drink.
Last time I checked, badass people don't drink energy drinks. They drink coffee as black as night or really strong booze.

OT: From my experience (I think that was the Full Throttle), the things taste bloody awful; A combination of orange-peels and what I would think ram's piss would taste like canned, chilled and served for conveinence. After that taste-testing and my personal judgement, I haven't had another of any type since.

Most energy drinks taste similar to me but with two exceptions. Rockstar tastes like someone sprinkles sugar onto a piece of cardboard and made a stew out of it(translate a needed, nasty. Energy for Rockstar rates in at 4/10, it just dosent do much for me. Monster tastes pretty good, the "kaos" flavor anyway. Energy level is pretty close to Rockstar, 4/10.
One that stands apart as far as energy is Redline. It tastes like cough syrup but has a good amount of caffeine, 7/10. I have tried many others, but these are just the ones that stand out.
