How about you checked who I rooted for in the beginning of the game?oliveira8 said:How about instead of crying over the disallowed goal, cry over England's defense being crap, and conceded that first goal, in a most ridiculous way?
How about, don't act so stupid and realise the first goal is irrelevant because it was a mistake made by the players not the OFFICIALS, who are supposed to be getting these decisions right. To be honest i'd rather cry about the disallowed goal which cost us the match THANK YOU VERY MUCH.oliveira8 said:How about instead of crying over the disallowed goal, cry over England's defense being crap, and conceded that first goal, in a most ridiculous way?JourneyThroughHell said:The two wonderful Muller goals... are still the results of England going in all-in attack.MiracleOfSound said:It could be pretty irrelevant by the end though... 4-1 holy shit.JourneyThroughHell said:It's undoubtedly the best game of the Cup even if they stand around for the whole second half.MiracleOfSound said:Fuck me what a game
I actually feel bad for England now... FIFA fail so hard with thier pre-historic attitude to replays
And it's utterly ruined.
And that attack still comes from the disallowed goal.
Sorry, Miracle, but it's still crap.
So your big point is; stop moaning about the game changing decision and insult your own players because they conceded a sloppy goal, even though after scoring a rightful goal that was wrong disallowed you should be blaming your own players?oliveira8 said:How about instead of crying over the disallowed goal, cry over England's defense being crap, and conceded that first goal, in a most ridiculous way?
Makes what 10x worse?LOLYOULOSEGIRL said:Referring to your point about it being 4-1. You seriously think this now changes anything? This makes it 10x worse. Totally sick.Brotherofwill said:4:1 YEEEEEEES!
I feel exactly the same as you. I'm hoping we lose so all of those shitty chants will stop, and the flags will come down, and everything will just be normal again.jackanderson said:I really want Germany to win so that we stop giving two shits about the World Cup here in England. Then I can get my Pointing And Laughing Finger out to make fun of all of those who said that "This is the one!"
Anyways, I'm guessing 1-1 and then Germany on penalties. It's an English institution to lose on penalties. Like Fish & Chips, crap weather and Top Gear.
Ok ok, but that's only 1 example...well there are probably more but not as many as in football.Jack and Calumon said:Can I bring up that one time we lost in Rugby, even when the Video Ref was brought in? WE GOT A TRY! LOOK AT IT!Aloran said:So guys...I heard the referee's bad?
Seriously though: This is why I prefer rugby, if there's ever a controversial decision then they just use the video ref. Silly footballing assosciation.

They said it wasn't a try!
Calumon: Wow, his shoulders are bigger than me!
Yeah, we should definitely thank both teams for this awesome display.Brotherofwill said:Great save by Neuer! Great play by Gerrard!
This is the best match of the tournament by FAR!
You seriously can't see the point? The fact that that decision has effectively cost them a clear chance at victory because it changed England's tactics.Brotherofwill said:Makes what 10x worse?
The clear goal that wasn't given? I don't understand your point.
They weren't the better team - England's defence was just shocking...Germany was the better team in the first half for around 30 minutes. They scored 2.
Both goals that came about due to England's game-plan. A game-plan they were forced to take due to the fact they were losing. Then out of nothing England came back really strongly and dominated, scoring 2 goals (one of which wasn't given). They still dominated into the early 2nd half. Right now Germany is slowly finding back into the game (If scoring 2 goals can be called slowly).
Are you kidding me with that? It changes everything. Literally, everything in the entire match is changed as a result of the score-line. You think England played all-out attack, thus conceding the third and fourth goals as a direct result of them losing? You'd be correct; had they not played in that way (due to the decision) they would most likely have not conceded. Likewise, Germany may have pressed more because England wouldn't have been attacking - it's be a completely different game...You really think 1 goal that isn't given causes this whole game to unfold like this? Yeah, it has a tremendous mental impact and really sucks if it happens but that's football. I feel bad for England, but anyone that thinks the linesman's mistake cost the match for England is making excuses. You have a point about it changing the flow of the game, but that only goes so far.

Anyway, seems like we're out for certain now anyway. English defenders my bum.
Also, Calumon, do 50 push ups, that'll build your shoulder muscles up!
Do digimon even have shoulders?

Just relax. It's just a game.
Yeah; "I want everything to go back to being boring and mundane; screw the excitement that comes once every 2 years when a major international tournament is played, if I don't like it then nobody can..."StarStruckStrumpets said:I feel exactly the same as you.
