Surely the best way to stop noisy neighbours doing the nasty is to yell encouragement through the wall.

Circumstances. The woman was on an Asbo, one of which the terms was to stop her "shouting, screaming or vocalisation at such a level as to be a statutory nuisance". The... screaming would have thus constituted as noise pollution or breaching the peace. Hahaha.

Imagine your trying to concentrate and every single evening your neighbours are screaming at the top of their lounges. Of Course your going to be pissed. Why should it be any less annoying or illegal because their having sex while being obnoxious, just because sex is awesome doesnt mean you want to hear it.
