I used to, and I always put the maximum age I could, till I got to be legally 18. Mostly for giggles, but other then that, to watch the M rated trailers for movies and games.

so in two days on the same site I went from think It was 89 to being 18 and the site didnt care.

i'm only 16, so using my actual age is completely out of the question for me, i mostly use it for reviews of M rated games on reviewing websites, though sometimes for other things, like porn (go ahead and judge, i don't care)

HELL no. I'm legal sure, but its easier to click the year box and drag it down till I'm somewhere in the 1950's.

I just scroll a random distance down the bar and click. I cant be arse to have to enter a set age every single damn time I want to watch something.

Here in Australia we have no 18+ rating. I wanted to check a trailer for a MA15+ game at 16 or 17. I put in my country and age and the site site said I needed to be over 17 or 18. Cleared my cache and said I was 34. Last time I ever put in my real age. Even now I'm 18. I still say I'm born 1/1/whatever I scroll to.

I lie because:

1) I'm only 16.
2) I like to see if they really believe that a 100 year old is trying to access a video for Assassin's Creed.

Sometimes I put in 1. It sometimes works!

To be honest I just put in the fastest thing I can hit in.

If that's against the rules, please tell me so. Also, may I raise a question?
Why was Lego violence blocked yet soft-core Kinect Porn wasn't?

It if makes me type, I type in my actual birthday as I find it quicker to just throw that in then type a random year. If it's a drop down menu, I'm always born January 1st, whatever year in the 1900's I scroll to and select because it's faster roll to throw the scroll wheel on my mouse a time or two and pick one than sit there looking for my proper year.

The sad thing is that a lot of these things I run into anymore are on services that already made me log in to use and have likely already made a record of my birthday when I signed up, or at the very least could take a moment to have you enter your real birthday and actually remember it so you don't have to re-enter it all the time. Like Steam, I was looking in the sale catalog the other day and they had a Doom pack on sale, and I wanted to look at that so I clicked, and then it's asking me for my age. Okay Steam, I have an account, and I'm signed in as soon as I launch your software. So how about you just let me input that I'm currently 24 and we skip all these silly age checks every time I want to look at an M rated game's page?

Strangely enough, all the porn sites I've seen don't bother, they just say "by entering this site you agree that you are of legal age to view this material in your country" and don't even bother asking.

Why would you bother putting in your real age? It doesn't record it, it's a flimsy way to get out of legal trouble and a annoying time waster. Click on year, find something past 1980 and watch video.

I'm only a year too young so I always put the correct day and month but I fib a year so I can watch it. If it is for anything older than 18n I just randomly pick a date, month, and year just to get it over with.

I'm 23, but I could never be bothered to select my actual birthdate. I know... in the grand scope of things it doesn't really take long. But on the internet it can be an eternity!

I have never told the truth on those until recently, when I turned 18, so I don't have to lie about being 18 any more to watch trailers/other things (yeah, exactly what you're thinking). I still randomly put an age in, though, because I'm, um, too lazy to find my actual birthday.

But I love how they say, especially on video game sites, "You must be X years old to view this. Please enter your age (that will never be checked in any way)."
