Epic boss fights?

I've been seeing a lot of posts in the "worst boss fights" thread and those posts included every video game I've ever played. Are there really no epic boss fights?

To be honest, I can't remember one myself.

I'm not sure if this counts but-

Force Unleashed: Starkiller VS Star Destroyer. Seemed fairly epic to me.

I can't call it epic but I did like the final boss fight of the final Legacy of Kain game, just because I loved that I was finally able to fight the Elder God.

You gotta play more JRPGs, buddeh. I remember the final boss fight in Star Ocean TTEOT being quite epic.

Also, though the 'real' ending of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within was fairly meh for me, I remember the Dahaka chase in the garden, and the Dahaka chases that took place after defeating the Time Empress were the most epic parts of that game; they were damned exhilarating and truly my favorite parts of the game.

Yes, Spiderman 2... Mysterio boss fight number 1 & 2. Boss fight one, you websling to the top of the Statue of Liberty and destroy an alien device held in mid air above it by punching it. Boss fight 2, where you actually defeat Mysterio (sort of, you don't have to fight him after this) in a really weird and evil funhouse where you end up fighting versions of yourslef that come out of those wonky fairground mirrors.

I found that really epic. Others might too.

Probably the fight with chronos in GoW 3. That was the only thing I liked about that game

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass while being the worst game in the series had pretty good boss fights. My favorite was the last three: facing a squid demon, an epic pirate ship battle, then facing a possessed friend.

Folks don't even bother posting anymore this was one hell of an EPIC FREAKING BATTLE.

My most satisfying ending boss fights were Salazar, Saddler, and Krauser from RE4. Then there's the Hydra from GOW, Theseus from GOW2, and Poseidon, Hercules, Hermes, Cronos, and Zeus from GOW3.

EDIT: OH! And the mantis from MGS4.

Doom Dragon, Dullahan, and Sentinel from Golden Sun 2.

Most of the Bosses in the Metroid Prime Series.

Gannondorf from LoZ:OoT.

Nergal and then the Dragon from Fire Emblem.

Alpha from Megaman Battle Network 3.

and Andross from Star Fox.

Just a few i can think of off the top of my head.

The ending Fight of Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker

Nothing is more Epic than fighting a Madman on top of a tower with the ocean crashing down upon your head.

literally every move you do becomes a spectacel.

Pretty much any boss from a God of War game or most final bosses in JRPGs.
