Epic bugs that should have been features and ridiculous features that might as well have been bugs.

Well, Fallout 3 has a crapload of crashing bugs and all that other generally bad stuff, but the Point Lookout DLC has a merchant (Haley) who lives in a misaligned cell, causing his skills to reset every time you enter his store.

That means, over time, you can make his Repair skill max out and get merchant-repair only items like the coveted T-51b Armor repaired to the max.
I don't know if this was a glitch or not, but every time I got the Winterized T-51b armor it NEVER degraded. EVER.
That's not a bug, the winterized version simply has an insane amount of HP. I'm pretty sure if you wear it long enough it will eventually degrade a percentage point.
That does not change the fact that it's still a bug; just one that appears on every copy of the game.

The problem lies in that the armour in the room has the same stats as the one in the simulation, namely, 9,992,000 item health. It is in fact, the same armour, at least in the unpatched copy of Anchorage.
Long story short, Beth were lazy. Again.
Indeed - though the actual Winterised T51 armour is in game, just not accessible without the console. They screwed up and put the wrong version in the armoury after you finish the Anchorage simulation.

Not a bug, just a screw up on the part of the Devs.

Pretty sure there was a bug in TF2 that made the nnouncer say Overtime about 6 times in succession and i remember hearing that valve made it a feature...does that count?

Back then, Realtime Worlds said the SUV's ability to drive up vertical walls with it was a bug that was pretty much left in the game because it was fun.

Let's hope Ruffian Games expands on funny "pseudo glitches" in Crackdown 2

Martyrdom in COD 4. I don't understand how they did not see it could be abused.
Also, the ability of walking through walls in inFamous could be seen as a feature/power, if it wasn't so glitchy.
Finally, the crappy collision detection in the scenery of God Hand allowed me to see and punch people through walls.

TFC and conc. jumping, double conc. jumping and even the rarely used triple conc. jump!!

(For those of you who don't know a "conc. jump" is where a concussion grenade is used to allow you to jump large distances without taking any damage as the concussion grenade didn't explode, it just let out gas that made your character dizzy).

This was an epic bug that was sooo handy on 2fort where you could jump from one fort to another ... I remember downloading a replacement grenade noise that was a countdown to help me time my jumps ... Good times :-D

Ah, sarcasm.

I wish there was HTML code for sarcasm. It would make things like this a lot easier.

[sub]And yes. Sarcasm. I love Bethesda with all my heart, but they really dropped the ball with the "trade-off" armour. Only five points less DR, and it's invincible! [/sub]

On the TV subtitles they use (!) to signify sarcasm.

All the while Bethesda lets their bugs go through to see if the community reacts positively to them. Some game companies try and figure out what's the most fun by algorithms, some by comparative tests, Bethesda doesn't fix bugs in beta versions of their games to see if it'll actually make the game more fun overall.
