I've lost track of the number of dragons my characters have killed, and my highest level character is my level 23 Dunmer. I'd welcome you to check out my achievement list if you don't believe me; I haven't got the 'expert' one yet (lvl 25) and got the 'dragonslayer' achievement (20 dragon souls) five days after getting the 'adept' (lvl 10) achievement. My level 18 Nord is also doing pretty well, mainly because he's wielding Wuuthrad and has the perks that allow two-handed weapons to do double damage and the perk that allows a running power attack that always criticals.King of the Sandbox said:C'mon guys, of course dragons are weaksauce when you're level 40 and one shotting everything.
But not a single one of you can tell me that a dragon while you're under level 20 is a cakewalk. Well, you could, but you'd be lying.
Basically all you do is sprint away from any breath attacks and when that scaly bugger lands run up beside (not in front of) him and flay the crap out of it's wings. The tail can't get ya, the teeth can't get ya, and the breath can't get ya. Get this technique down pat and dragons become almost (although never totally) routine.
