I think the first one is truly epic, while the second one is just hauntingly beautiful. To me, at least.

BTW, while I am a valve fanboy, I like these songs cause I think they are good, not cause they were in the Valve games.

I have to say "You're not alone" from FFIX. It's the first and only time I've ever stopped played, put the controller down and just listened to the music. I almost didn't want to play past that point the music was that good and I NEVER notice game music.
