Episodes from Liberty City Coming to PC, PS3

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City [http://www.amazon.com/Grand-Theft-Auto-Episodes-Playstation-3/dp/B0036FDHT2/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1280176955&sr=1-1] will be coming to the PC and PlayStation 3 in March.

No, it's not exactly a big shock, but can any of us really claim to be surprised when a massively successful franchise is leveraged on other platforms? But it's good news nonetheless: Owners of the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of The Ballad of Gay Tony [http://www.amazon.com/Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Xbox-360/dp/B000FRU1UM/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1280176990&sr=1-1], the two DLC releases that were released for the Xbox 360 last year.

"We are happy to announce the much anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Games for Windows Live on March 30, 2010," Rockstar said in an announcement [http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/2010/01/29/2861/grand_theft_auto_episodes_from_liberty_city_coming_to_playstation_3_and_pc] on its website. "For the first time, PlayStation 3 and Games for Windows Live players will have the opportunity to experience the last two thrilling chapters of the Grand Theft Auto IV saga."

"The two action packed episodes will also be available for download on the PlayStation Network and Games for Windows Live on March 30, 2010," it continued. "Each episode boasts the same detailed and immersive Liberty City we all know and love. Games for Windows Live players can enjoy 32-player multiplayer matches and an advanced video editor, and all fans will have the chance to once again listen to the dulcet tones of Liberty City Radio."

GameStop [http://www.microsoft.com]. Pricing for the PC and PS3 versions has not yet been revealed, but will presumably be similar.

did anyone enjoy the pc version enough to spend more money on it?.

found it to be a terrible port of an otherwise good game.

Meh. Figured it'd happen sooner or later, because it's silly to focus on one console with a hit title like GTA. Unfortunately, I've moved on to bigger and better things during the wait. Like ME2!

Yeah this isn't really too exciting unless your have PS3 or PC.
Even then, it's only exciting if you haven't played any of the dlc on a friend's 360.
We're thinking: R* has two other groups of gamers to ripoff.

They should cut the price, not just because we had to wait but also because most of us now know how overpriced these episodes really are.

FINALLY.

It's almost been two whole YEARS since GTA IV was released, and I need a reason to go back to it. I don't care how many people say they didn't like GTA IV, I did and I shall definitely be buying Episodes from Liberty City.

My core i7 OC@3.3Ghz and Nvidia 275 GTX run GTA IV on my PC just fine. Actually better, because no slowdowns and full 1080*1920 res unlike the 720p console crap.
