It's good to see that Movie Bob ends up liking as many movies as he hates. Most critics (especially those broadcasting via internet) like to show their intelligence and justification to their position as a critic by loathing almost any movie that crosses their path. There is always a certain sense of satisfaction to them from taking a movie that is generally liked and tearing it down. Almost as if saying, "Hey I'm an original, exciting, and utterly deep individual who's entertainment value can't be pinned down and contained by any man-made film."
Truth is, everybody loves the feeling of being a critic. They love to ignore that child in their heart screaming out that they actually took joy in watching a movie, and instead pick out everything that was wrong with it. They like to feel that they're unique, not an easy target for the bandwagon. Even if they secretly loved every minute of a film in some sort of guilty pleasure fashion, they will never admit it.
Back to the point, that's why I enjoy seeing Movie Bob's reviews. He isn't afraid to admit that he enjoyed watching something, even if it wasn't perfect. I feel like I can, in good faith, take his reviews into consideration when deciding what to watch.
