We better get a Small Soldiers 2. I'm also 15, and I'm nearly insulted that you think that I had never heard of the A-Team before now...
I'm also so glad that we have an action movie that is over the top, except that being the point. I want an action movie that doesn't take itself seriously because you know that mostly anyone would have taken the A-Team and tried to make it gritty and tough for the new age of kids and it would have come off as being a stupid action movie that was hardly believable. It's not like anyone was expecting an intellectual masterpiece coming from a movie like this and from the looks of it, it's just a fun movie that will have an entire theater of people leaving with a smile.
However, you've led me wrong so many times. I saw Splice mostly because of your recommendation... it was not very good. Best movie of the year? Kick Ass was better, the Book of Eli was better, even Repo Men was better. Prince of Persia was a slightly boring action movie that I was just waiting to end. Edge of Darkness was a long, drawn out, and predictable revenge movie that took forever to get to the resolution and on the way there had characters who were laughably inconsistent, such as the guy who tried to kill Mel Gibson, went absolutely crazy and threw things at him, and then took him to the back room to show him some potentially incriminating evidence against himself as if they were friends. You praised all of these movies, yet you didn't like How to Train Your Dragon which was the best movie Dreamworks ever made and, while predictable, was a great family movie that had surprisingly well done action sequences. At least we agree on Moon.
