THANK YOU BOB, I FUCKIN DISTEST THIS MOVIE SERIES. SERIOUSLY, I SAW THE FIRST MOVIE SOMETIME LAST YEAR TO SEE WHAT THE HYPE WAS ABOUT AND I THOUGHT IT SUCKED. ANYTONE WHO LIKES TWILIGHT MUST A COMPLETE DOUCHE CUZ THATS ALL THIS MOVIE IS A BIG STINKING PILE OF DOUCHE.

Safe to say, just avoid any girl who says she is a fan. Watch out for girls who say they read it to "see how bad the writing was" or that they "read it just to see what the fuss was about and didnt think it was too bad". Standards people, its what sets us apart from the vampires

I would agree your right that some of the messages are (at best) mixed. i would also say if your going to reveiw a movie you don't like don't talk about actors and actresses when there is perfectly bad filmmaking going on.
remember how in new moon you said the photography is good? did you notice how in this movie it wasn't? did you notice how the camera men seemed to be college students who had never seen an HD camera before? did you notice the special effects had lag time? did you ever wonder why voice parts didn;t match in volume or that public places were eerily quiet so the movie seemed artificial?
becasuse you didn't comment on it and instead ragged on the twilight series is imposing or even suggesting moral values in opposition to yours. and no the frisbee didn't look like it almost belonged there but i assume thats becasue you suck at editing. did you even watch that part or did you see a clip because that fight was probably the best part of the whole movie. Well shot, visceral, and flowing. something, i might add the rest of the movie didn't have.
Bob i'm dissapointed in this reveiw. I have no love for the twilight movies so they can suck as much as they like but for you i have standards. this did not meet them. you'll get off easy if your doing overtime this week and a last airbender reveiw on friday but this reveiw is dissappointing.

I actually read an interesting theory as to why this series is so popular even when with just a TINY bit of brain, people can see that what it's advertising is crazy.
Think about it. There ARE no female nerd genres. Star Trek, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, video games... these are all in the male domain and primarily male oriented. Granted there are a lot of females who enjoy all of those things (me included) but they weren't made for girls. We just kinda tack ourselves on or are included after they are invaded by men.
This is one of the first things that speaks to females as they are. It isn't the best written and it isn't the best acted and it isn't the best message but it's the only thing there! There is a HUGE void for anything made just for young adult girls and I can guarantee that if there was a better written option, it would be more popular.
