How many people (myself included) have now rushed over to Amazon trying to find a copy of Hercules?

I find Hasslehoff's Starcrash is another prime contender for the 'so bad it's good' category.

Think of this review like this: MovieBob knows that Your Highness is the most advertised and most likely the #1 movie on most people's minds in the demographic that the show is for. Thus, he used this opportunity to, instead of talk about other amazing movies that have come out in the last week or so, say how meh Your Highness is and namedrop movies that people should see instead if they aren't into Your Highness' concept.

It's honestly pretty smart, because now I'm interested in seeing all of his recommendations (even Hercules again), and am less inclined to see Your Highness.

ROFL ZING on the prequel trilogy Bob. That was worth it for the forgettable movie that "Your Highness" is.

I used to think Thor would suck and Cap would be awesome but having seen the trailers my opinion has reversed. Thor looks brilliant and Cap looks a bit iffy to me.

In 2 weeks I'm free of work and will see all those movies within days!

To be honest, seeing the trailer, I mistook Natalie Portman as Kiera Knightely....

Oh gawd thank you so much for reminding me of that Hercules movie! I remember seeing that on HBO or something as a kid and even then knew it was so bad it was hilarious.
For some reason all my friends can't wait to watch Your Highness. Personally, not interested in the slightest. I like all the people involved, but it just seems like screenplay laziness.
"Hey, let's put drug jokes in a fantasy movie! We'll be done shooting by the weekend!"
And I love drug humor.

Once upon a time, she banked on that resemblance to avoid trouble.

U.S. jokes are very simple, they don't have more than two sheets, while other countries Jokes can have at least 4 layers.

You liked Source Code? Really? Why does everyone like it? I fell asleep for the first hour or so on and off. My 2 friends said I didn't really miss anything because the movie was so boring. One is the manager of the theater and she's telling people NOT to see it because it was that bad.

I really didn't laugh at Pineapple Express, but I laughed at the trailer for this, so, yeah, going to see it.

Besides, I *was* a stoner-D&D player :), so I'll probably appreciate it more.

Well that was as predictable as it was incomprehensible. Smells like a failed and too-literal onion metaphor.

it wasn't meant to be a metaphor, it's a fact.

This one looked a little too much like that Jack Black B.C film which was shite so I think I may pass on this one, that or wait for a family member to go out and buy the DVD... Not something I'd really go to the movies to see.

I cannot for the life of me understand why Bob would spend his time tripping over a semi-recommendation for Your Highness when he could have spent it talking about the intense piece of awesome that is Hanna.
Took the words out of my mouth. Why not just review any of the other movies that were actually great movies rather than a shitty comedy that is so good you would rather talk about Hercules?
Maybe that's it. Maybe he just wanted an excuse to talk about Hercules.
To wit, if anyone wants I have a review of Hanna up at my web site. It's a fantastic movie, I really encourage everyone to go see it.

Oh my god. OH MY GOD.
Moviebob TOTALLY brought up Lou Ferrigno's Hercules. And to make things better he brought up the 'space bear' sequence.

I saw this film on Cinemax years ago with a friend and we just laughed our asses off.

MovieBob is now, like, 20% cooler. Fuck that, he's 200% cooler.

That said I for one will join the chorus for more on Hannah please. I've only heard a little of it, had generally favorable buzz, and Bourne Identity like is a plus in my book. So it'd be nice to get some elaboration on what makes it good, so I can decide if it's worth my time.
It's a coming of age, parenthood allegory wrapped in an action-thriller fairy tale. The action is well filmed (particularly a long take subway fight that is just badass), and The Chemical Brothers score is phenomenal. It also has a reason why she can beat grown men.
