I'm vaugely curious how people would react if I did actually show up. I've been on every thread concerning Sydney Escapism since the first one, languidly musing that I "might show up" even though I live the breadth of the Pacific ocean away and have no money for a flight or even an aquatic taxi ride.
I get the feeling that in like Escapism '011, after years of bald-facedly lying that I'm going to show up, I should come completely unannounced and just ambush your group in a coffee shop or something.
In unrelated news it's my plan to appear at Sydney Escapism this year, but completely unannounced and waiting for you guys at a different meeting point. Probably a coffee shop or something. Don't worry, I'll be hunting you the entire day and will jump out when you least expect it, so you don't have to worry about trying to find me. I'll be finding YOU! Oh, and I don't need a reservation at Pancakes On The Rocks. Not a big fan of pancakes.
