Shoot, I'd have to check the travel rates. Nova Scotia to Toronto can be expensive. But at least I don't have to worry about work schedules or anything like that...
I must say, your avatar made me smile. It's hilarious!

OT: I wish I could go to this, as I am Canadian, but I doubt I'll be anywhere near Toronto when this is going on. Good luck, though, pulling it all together! I bet you guys will have a great time!

Sounds like fun.

I'd like to go, but have no way to get there.
And I live so close!
Do you live in Toronto? Because something could possibly be arranged.

Argghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Why do I have to waste my time here to find a job?!?!?!?

I'm sorry, but I'll have to sit this one out. If you ever make one in Montreal during the Springbreak or something, give me a call!

EDITED note* No photos for IBM or Neonbob.
Well looks like somebody will be jogging over here.

COMPLETELY EDITED MY POST

1) How old is everyone who wants to go? I enjoy drinking and wouldn't mind a bar as an idea, but I'm entirely flexible.

2) Wonderland is a lot of fun, but the TTC doesn't go to it. As I don't have a car, I thus couldn't get there without a ride. As I'm already taking the greyhound it would be a very costly trip to take the greyhound then switch over to a GO bus. EDIT: I forgot waterloo recently got GO service, so I could technically just use the GO. This is good as it's way cheaper than the greyhound.

3) I live in Waterloo, anyone who isn't a serial murderer got a car from around there and going?

I totally would if I was old enough to go there alone and didn't need permission. Sounds like a lot of fun, but alas, I cannot go this year. Maybe if I was 18.

It a small theme park, on an island. (Perfect Zombie Apocalypse hide out, and yes the island has a police station)

And no I'm not French Canadian, I just like acting like a stereo type, its fun.

I'm in. I can fit six in my car, so if you're on anywhere on the route from Kingston to Toronto, I can fit you in.

Escapism is on yet another continent! Yay. I'd suggest starting up a user group for this; it's really useful for Escapism UK.

And how can you not if you go go-karting? All English Escapismers get is paintballing apparently ;)
ALL!? What's wrong with Paintballing? We're also going to do other fun videogame related activities like Arcades, Comic book shops, stealing cars, beating up prostitutes to get our money back, and maybe even Bowling.

I agree with a user group. I'd make one but Baby Tea is running the show here, so he should make it and run it.

Attention all Canadian Escapists!

After seeing the Aussies have all the fun with their multiple Escapisms, it's time we had our own fun! So this is a call to all my Canuck brethren and sisters who live in or around (Or close enough to travel to) Toronto!

At this point, I just want to see who would seriously be willing to join us in TO for some fun (Probably that bitchen indoor go-kart track), food, and hangin' out! If we get a good enough response, then we'll push this into a set date and time and get this underway! I'd also absolutely take suggestions for things we could do if the bitchen indoor go-kart track (Where the karts go nearly 40 km/h) doesn't interest everyone.

Post your interest here! It's Time for Canada to have the first Escapism!
OR, if it's already happened, the first in Ontario!
Or, if THAT has already happened, The first this year!
Huzzah! Who's with me?
Could you make a user group for this Mr.Baby Tea please?!

I'm up for arcades, comic book shops and bowling. Everything else just sounds like too much effort. I was gonna poke my head into the Escapism UK usergroup to check out what the non paintballers were gonna be up to.

Baby Tea's call, but I wouldn't say that's likely. It excludes too many members. Although you might have a chance of getting some of the drinking age attendees to go for a few drinks, it wouldn't be fair (or possibly even feasible) to have the entire meet up oriented around a bar.

Well, Toronto is a pretty great city as there seems to be a bar every block minimum by Union Station :p
but yeah, I see how it's exclusive and that's bad.

As a side note I used to run a bunch of meet ups before raves with hordes of ravers in my more youthful days in the streets of Toronto. We usually used Nathan Phillips Square as a good meeting point. It's open, public and very accessible.

I thought it was just a Park, that may work then.

Would this be restricted to Canadians? Cause I'd be interested in attending if it's on a weekend. And I'd be willing to take 3 other people (4, if someone was willing to sit in the middle of the back seat) in or near the Rochester, NY area. Although I think I'd have to get a passport first.

It's pretty lame, but it's actually fun with a lot of people somehow.

What about dave and busters? It's described as an "amusement park for adults" and is in Vaughn.

There is no toronto escapism group.

EDIT: There it is.
If Baby Tea is organizing, why did you make the group?

Well it's actually about four or five small islands that are connected, but the only way to reach them is by ferry.

(Only center island has the small theme park but still, it has a small clinic, police station LOOTS of food stands with a theme park. This may be a better hiding place than a mall in a zombie infection breakout. Also there is a small train that goes around one of the islands, and a part of the theme park that looks like a town from the wild west)
