Well depening on how drunk people get and the time the hostel closes, that may still happen yet!

Of course it will. I'm pretty sure that with this much escapist excitement (feel free to replace 'escapist' with 'geek' ;D) the UK has found a new renewable resource.

The fact that I live in London makes me think it'd be silly to miss it, but... I don't really know anyone here. I guess it'd be a good chance to get to know people, but that doesn't change the other problem: I'll probably be the oldest person there by quite a margin and, no offence, but hanging around with a load of kids isn't particularly my idea of fun.

BUT. If I'm wrong and there's a few more grumpy old men going, I'll probably be up for it.

Aye, I'll be 26 a couple of weeks after the event. That said, I'm still at university (didn't start 'til I was 23) so I could hardly be described as mature.
