Escapism UK - Scotland pre-Meet

Hello,

I thought I would take charge of a meet for us Scots. The idea for this meet will be for us to get to know each other a little prior to the main UK event in July. Many of us will be traveling together with Megabus so a pre-meet would help any shy Scot escapists have someone to talk to on the trip down to London, not to mention recognise faces.

WHEN: Sunday 24th of May.

WHERE: Edinburgh. Meet at 1 o'clock in Waverly train station, I will be holding an escapism sign.

ACTIVITIES: Trip to Starbucks so we can talk over a hot chocolate. From there we can walk around the shops or play a game of laser quest. Finishing with a trip to the pub in the evening, unless most need to head home or are underage.

AGE LIMIT: Due to the conditions of the UK meet, the same age restrictions apply. 14.

I dunno, I think it will make the Scottish people going less inclined to talk to the others, as they will already be acquainted... although I could be completely wrong...

yeah but with the travel groups for all areas, there's a small danger of that happening anyway

This really does sound like a plan but I think a fair few of us are under 18 at the moment =/ unless I'm just forgetful (for the pub I mean) but anyway yeah I'll come to the pre meet if I'm free to that day

Cool. We don't have to go to the pub if the majority are under 18. It was just an idea if people wanted to stick around for a bit longer. Hopefully you can come just the same.
