If you can't tell the difference, then how are you qualified to flame someone for said differences? This is not a flamethrower attack, just a question. :p

Oh, and coincidence is easy to misspell if you try to spell it phonetically. Because, according to the, so called, rules of phonetics, it should be spelled with an "s".
Nobody's flaming, I just made a joke about it.

And phonetics don't matter squat.

While I agree that phonetics shouldn't matter, the fact remains that it is still heavily taught. I think it makes the language harder, personally.

As the runner up of the X-Box 360 Red Faction Mashup (I'll be signing autographs later), it was entirely a coincidence that just after I signed up at the Escapist, there was a contest. I wouldn't say that my video was chosen because I'm new, though.

But the theory that the contests attract new users is probably correct, as going to a board and winning a 360 is usually a good way of getting someone to stick around.

These Escapist contest coincidences are most likely nothing more than coincidences related to Escapist contests.

I was one of the (ten?) winners in the GamersGate free game prize draw... but does being here over a year make me a regular with a post count as low as mine?

You decide.
