How much do you care about badges? Not all that much, unless they are hard to get, or show that you did something special.
Which of your badges is your favorite? Neo, as it shows that I've been a good person on here.
Which badge that you don't have yet do you want the most? The inferno badge, or whatever it's called. 100 000 views on a thread. Not happening.
Is there some badge you have that you couldn't care less about? The Rebecca Muses badge. I gave it a shot. Wasn't for me. Why'd they give me a badge?
Is there some badge that's unavailabe to you forever that you really would have liked to have?

I don't really care about badges but I won't deny, it is pretty cool when you wake up and you see you have a new one.

My favourite badge has got to be The Neo. For me, it's not about the fact I've got the 5K posts, more the fact I actually went 6 months without Wrath, That pleased me.

I would like to get the Thanks badge but I cannot see a way for me to get it. But maybe one day, I shall somehow acquire it. Maybe arrange an 'accident' for one of the Staff and save their lives... [footnote]DISCLAIMER: I have no intentions to harm the Staff.[/footnote]

I could do without the Friends badges, I reckon. Either that or the Maven badges.

I would have liked the Pony badge and I'm sure that's not available now. Ah well.

Oh, and a small side note to nay staff reading this, if you could point me to the thread which got me my 'On Fire' badge, I'd really appreciate it. Ta.

Yeah, the holiday badges I've missed.

I do not care for the Matrix badges. Anybody can go into Forum Games, bust out a stream of posts until 5000 and get the badge.

Ah, but not everyone can get to 5000 without getting a suspension of some sort.

Believe me, in Forum Games, you can piss out hundreds of posts in a day without any mod wrath. That's why you see users with join dates newer than ours that have 5 digit post counts.

Simple solution would be to turn off post counts in Forum Games, that way only posts that matter go to your count, making the badges a lot more worthwhile.

I dunno, I agree that spamming some of the forum games to get those badges is kinda a cheap way to get them. If you turn off all posts in the Forum Game & RP forums then it's unfair to the RPers who post at a normal speed. :/
I actually got my Morpheus one before I started posting in the Forum games & RP section. >_>

I think posts in User Groups should be turned off actually :/ They can be spammed too.

Most of the Genre Wars badges. I used to be big into it, but I kinda just...stopped.

I disagree, sincde I disagree with any post whose idea is that post count should be turned off anywhere. Post count that doesn't count all posts is useless, since the point of the post count is to count posts. If it had been some kind of scoring system I could have understood you, but since it's meant to show how many times you've posted it's completely meaningless unless it does that.

A lot of the starting WoW timeline stuff. I mostly clicked through to find out where I came into the scene and what had happened before.

Haven't really check out the others, but I wish I had been around to get a Desert Bus badge. I love Desert Bus and everything they do for the children.

1.)I'm an achievement hoe, I can't be expected to just stop caring about badges. They are a part of me, metaphorically speaking.

2.) My favorite badge is my Hot Topic one, or whatever it's called, for making a thread with 50 replies. And that was about hats.

I like my "regular badge", it looks so deliciously frothy....
On the whole I like badges, but I'm not going to start hunting them or anything. They're like achievments or trophies, fun but pointless.
Edit: Oh and "Bamalam", that's a favoutire too, DDKR for life.

Not very much at all. Though it's nice to get one, I'm not really too bothered. They're basically just like achievements in games. Nice to have, but I don't really work towards them.

My Morpheus Badge (Epic Poster), for 1000 posts without mod wrath.

The Neo Badge (Real Ultimate Poster), for 5000 posts without mod wrath, is the only one I can say I'm really bothered about. I guess something like Forum Inferno would be nice too.

I just imagined for some reason how awesome it'd be if they would send you a vest with all your badges clipped on it and when you're banned, they come to your house, force you to put it on and rip off yoru badges like a bad cop movie.

Not that much. I don't go out of my way to get them, but it is a nice feature.

Its a toss-up between Forum Vagabond, Ubermensch, The Pony-Lover and Beta Chatter. That's sort of why I have them as my four.

The Luigi one from the Mario quiz.

Probably the ones for watching videos, seeing as they're a little of an odd choice to make badges out of.

The gold medal for the haiku competition. Mainly because I didn't expect to get it. And I hardly ever win anything, so it gave me a nice fuzzy feeling.

I don't particularly feel like getting it, but I do thing it's kind of cool (and very random) that there's a Mike Patton badge, what with him being my favorite singer.

- I like the badges i think it adds something to this site that most others can't achieve it does keep me coming back again too.

- I like the Beat him at his own game 1 just cuz the quiz was hard and made no sense lol, trail and error trial and error.

- Um the pony chicken or the star are all on my to get list
