I'm Irish, Polish, Scottish, English, maybe Lithuanian, and some fraction of a percentage viking. So I'm like all the whitest parts of Europe. And somehow 50% Mexican. I'm a goddamn ghost! How is this possible!?
Full blood Pakeha (or white New Zealander, for those many people that don't know any Maori). I actually managed to find the family that I am descended from, they moved to NZ from Sussex in 1830ish.
I'm human. As much as I mightn't want to be sometimes. I would also identify myself by the cultures I surround myself with, rather than the tone of my skin.
White, American, quasi-Southern, quasi-WASPy. If people are like "sure, you're American, but where is your family actually from?", I continue to say America, because what does it matter what some port some guy 12 generations ago got on a boat from?
