But yeah, this could be an app that would make a good chunk of money even if they did make it cost like .99. I know I would buy it for my iPhone. Even if it's free it still would be something amazing.

No. Youtube converts the .flv format to quicktime.
Thats why ipod touches/iphones can play youtube but not most other stuff.

And it would be nice to be able to watch the videos and thumb through the columns without loading all the other junk that comes with a webpage.

If you're in the PubClub you can watch videos on a fair number of mobile devices (HTML-5), so they already have that option. Making a free app to that end is sort of against their interests. Details in the link below:

Actually, pub club members are supposed to be able to watch the videos on iPod and so on. So why make a free ap when they can make money by only giving it to the pub club members?

I'm in pub club and it is nice to be able to watch videos, however, it is still annoying that the website is in no way optimized for mobile viewing. The vids work great, but the rest of the site needs some optimizing. An app would be amazing.
