Haven't we heard that "what you're seeing is an older build" comment before? I'm pretty sure that's what was said about the BF4 beta: "You're objectively wrong. What you're looking at is an old build that's meant soleyly to stress test the servers. All of the bugs that you're mentioning have already been addressed in the final build." Except it wasn't.

Saying that this has all been "leaked" is like saying that the delivery guy in a porno movie was caught unawares: "Huh? No, no, wait...I'm just here to deliver pizza. What are you..."

Sorry EA. No more money for you until you fix BF4. Probably not even after that. I smelled blood in the water with the rather bug-plagued launch of BF3, but I chalked that up to FPSs always having problems at launch. BF3 became a decent shooter a few months in. BF4 is still a freakin' cluster f. We are going to keep getting half-finished games as long as we keep forking over money and rewarding these companies. It is obvious at this point that many are more concerned with meeting quarterly evaluation schedules for the stockholders than making quality titles for us to play. Resist my friends. Resist. Speak with your wallets. Don't buy this game. It would be preferable for people not to buy the game at all, but at the very least wait a month or two before purchasing it. This is a slippery slope we're all on and these companies won't take the hint until they take a financial hit.

I've always played battlefield for the huge map size and the 64 player modes on BF3 and BF4. Did they finally decide they couldn't get large maps functioning well enough and are now switching to smaller close combat situations?

I think I'm done with this series. It's been fun and I got a ton of play time through BF2-3-4 and Bad Company 2, but the quality has been slipping for a while. Multiplayer is king in these games and I want a shooter that has good controls and a snappy response time when I'm playing online. I don't like how everything feels sluggish in BF4, like the guns all weigh 200 pounds, and the inclusion of micro-transactions is bullshit. I like the feeling of grinding hours of multiplayer and getting good with a gun in order to unlock the best attachments, quite a buzz kill to see that people can buy their way into the best gear in game.

See you guys when they launch public beta, but probably wont be there when EA wants another $90 for the game and DLC.
