I'm a PC gamer that got back into console gaming fairly recently. I have a console every generation since PS1, but the graphics of PC kinda drew me in. But now a lot of the games I want to play are not on the PC (Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Resonance of Fate, etc), so I'm forced to go back to console. I think the hardcore PC games will die out eventually, making games for consoles simply cost less and they can sell to a bigger audience. One thing that's mentioned in the podcast is control, I think the next gen consoles will have mouse and keyboard support. That is simply the evolution of the consoles. They are basically closed computers. PC gaming will devolve into flash games and simple Ipad games.
