I'm also the guy who tries to only post where he thinks he can actually add something competent to the conversation; if I don't have an opinion or don't know what's going on I stay out of it.

I go to a thread, put in my 2 cents, and disappear unless called again (i.e. quoted). I also try to post as early as possible, preferably before reply 34 and hopefully in the first 5 or so.

Hell, im currently still deciding if I just want to scrap this post and go to sleep or to just press post THEN go to sleep. Meh, I worked too hard on this post to scrap it.

Now I think the consensus of most people I hang around is that of a weird uncle or something.
