What he should have done was have the teams alternate every 500, for example, everyone from 0-500, and 1001-1500 ect.. subtract 1 and everyone from 501-1000, and 1501-2000 ect.. add 1.
Does this make sence to anyone other than me?

Explain further...

0-500 posts subtract 1, 501-1000 posts add 1, 1001-1500 subtract 1, 1501-2000 add 1, 2501-3000 subtract 1, and so on and so fourth (alternating ever 500). At least thats what should have been done.
