There's a reason why it's in all caps and crossed out. It's supposed to be taken as a joke. I don't see how anyone could read that and think "Yup, that guy is completely serious with that".

And again, it's as though he expects we know and/or care about this.

It seems a lot like you think I'm some kind of lone mastermind in doing this. This was an organized event greenlighted by the mods, and I was the one in charge with making this thread explaining what happened.

So that, coupled with the actual mention of ego boosting, just reinforces this idea even more. I suppose this is all a case of 'Use it, and it shall consume you!'

I would think anyone who comes onto a forum and posts their opinions for random people to read have a smidge of narcissism in them. Who else would think their opinions were too important to keep to themselves.

I won't lie, there is something in me that wants others to read my posts and comment on them. If I didn't have a bit of narcissism, I would never have signed up. I think there's a little narcissist in anybody who posts their thoughts publicly for others to view.

This was a great idea, but I gotta give major credit to Kuliani for this. His reasons for the banning were so clever and hilarious! Searching for all his bans yesterday kept me highly entertained and up way too late last night. I wish I could shake that man's hand. But, for all of you, best April Fool's prank I've ever witnessed.

EDIT: Yeah, I just remembered something else funny about yesterday. After I read Furburt's and Hubilub's bans, I decided it must be a prank by someone, but then I started to doubt that and think they must have deserved it (briefly) because Kuliani went and posted in a thread that you guys had been planning a prank in real life that he wasn't at liberty to discuss, but it involved a toilet. Just cryptic enough to make me take it seriously. Until I read a couple more bans that were just too ridiculous. Anyway, all that is to just reinforce that Kuliani is the man!
