It would have been even more interesting if no reason was given for the ban. The amount of threads screaming the Escapist has turned into a totalitarian regime would have been insane.

That was actually one of our plans. Either we have silly messages, making it more fun, or real reasons, making everyone pissed.

We decided with the funny one, and I stick by it. I laughed hard yesterday

Honestly, I was a bit shocked to see PimpPeter2's banning at first (seeing as that would make the third time he has been banned), but after seeing other users getting banned as well (I got suspicious when I then saw your ban) it became pretty obvious. Though this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.184917-Furburt-banned] thread was absolutely hilarious to contribute to.

Also, you missed [user]SirBryghtside[/user]. He was actually pretty pissed off, considering the fact that he got no warning and was in the process of writing a, supposedly, epic review, which will, suposedly, be epic.

For the record, I feel as if it would've been better if you actually made the bannings look legitimate, but that's just my opinion on the subject. I prefer subtle April Fools jokes to blatantly obvious ones.
