I have tried google and a couple of forums - disclaimer.
It's my birthday today and someone bought me a new phone...a huawei sonic.
The issue I'm having with it at the moment is that I can't connect to any network.
I'm told the phone is unlocked and all that jazz...
but it still doesn't wanna connect.
If it matters I'm with virgin.

Help??

You will need to contact your provider and give them the IMEI number off the phone. Should be located under the battery.

whos your provider? Like, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, whoever? cause if they have a base store (which it would seem odd not to have one) I'd go to the base store and ask. or just call them and explain, they hould set you up.

20$ and a trip to a street corner should fix your problem.
Greatest, comment, EVER.
OT: Go to the store/call the help line. They could help you more than we could with what info you have given us.
Short of the obvious take out the battery or check to see if your antenna is properly in order.

Cheers. This actually helped, and thanks for everyone else who commented...
I've got some connection now (weak but apparently it'll be solved within the hour.)

It's your first post and its a joke, why couldn't my first post be that cool >.>

OT: I'm sorry but I know nothing about phones, first I'd call the phone company and see if they can help you but if they can't then I don't think I can help you........ with your virginity. (its not as funny when I say it D:)

Always happy to use my work knowledge to help people I actually like (i.e. not my customers!)
