So I know there was a giant thread about posting where you were from awhile back, but I am more interested in seeing if there are any Escapists located in Indiana (as I live there).

If you are, where are you from?

I'm from Fort Wayne, but currently living in Muncie.

Never been up there myself except passing through a few times on my way to visit cousins in Grand Haven, Mich. Heard it's nice though.

Woo Fort Fun!

Yeah, I'm from Fort Wayne, born and raised.
WOO! Gotta love Fort Fun, with its myriad of activities catering to mostly the 21+ crowd, leaving everyone else with approx. 5 things to do... totally not bitter about it...

If you don't mind me asking, where'd you go to high school?

I'm from Bishop Luers myself, south side of town.

I'm another Indianian, I live a little bit north of Louisville, Kentucky. It's ok here but I wouldn't mind moving some day. Can't really complain too much because I live in a pretty nice area compared to other places close by which are a lot more redneck.

I live a little ways east in Ohio.

By the way, never come here for the weather, it hates everyone.
Hailing from the NEO here. And yes, the weather blows. I blame the lake.

OP: If you're doing an Indiana/Ohio area meet up, I'd be up for a small roadtrip.

I also live in the ol' NEO. I could spend all day telling you how much the weather sucks.

Sometimes I feel like Muncie thinks it's farther south than it is and it makes me cringe.

Hadn't really considered it, but why not? Not like there is much to do in Muncie in the summer anyway. It pretty much turns into a ghost town when school isn't in sesstion.

Visited Indy a lot. I like it down there. And nice choice going to IU! BEAUTIFUL campus in the fall and spring. Almost decided to go there, but they didn't have exactly the program I was looking for

Central Ohio, represent! And yes, I hate the weather here. Even if I'm not near a lake, it's hell.

My brother goes to grad school in Indiana, though, which is why this thread caught my eye.

Yep. When I visited my brother there in May a few years ago, the flowers were out and the weather was wow. Fantastic. He said it's not that great in winter but... I like the cold anyway so :D

Plus if they send me stuff asking me to go there, why not...

Kruz got it right, IU. Beautiful campus in Spring.
I only asked because there are only about 5 colleges (Maybe 6) within a 25 minute drive of Bloomington.
