Here's one of mine I took a while back. A CA M4 CQB and a TM Glock 17.

The M4 has seen the most action. It's point-blanked someone in the stomach, shot someone in the mouth up a flight of stairs and survived 6 hours of sustained firefights and heavy rain in a forest. My cousin's MP5 died there. Chewed its own gears to shreds.

The Glock is my best friend on night games. Even more compact than the M4 and it packs the same power, it's only drawback being long distance accuracy but in the indoor environment that hardly matters. I remember one of my mates' first games was a night game and I lent him my M4, leaving me with just the pistol and 2 mags. One of the best night games I've ever done. I can't help but grin when I think about what we did to the enemy team.

I played airsoft a lot in high school. I sold a lot of my guns, though. The only ones I still have are my M4A1 Carbine, my MP-5A4, and my beastly Barrett M82A1.

Always hated using the M82A1 in games. It was mostly an impulse buy, because I've always liked the look of the rifle. The M4A1 and MP-5A4 definitely saw the most use, even when factoring in all the guns I sold.

This has actually turned into my favorite gun as of recently.

Mauser SR Pro Tactical [http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc313/Kazuma89L/misc/no-scope-no-rail_zps282df6c5.jpg]

Had it for a looong time, but haven't used it much. There was a scope on it that I've tried to zero in countless times, but it never seemed to be consistent, so I gave up. Found out it's extremely easy to point and shoot with it, so I removed the scope and rail. Also did a spraypaint job on it, and removed the nub on the butt cause it kept hooking itself into my jacket. Plus took out some balancing lead weights inside. Eased it by two pounds.
It needs some upgrades to be a proper sniper, and I did buy some that ended up not fitting. But eh, I figure I'd use like I use any other rifle. Makes me feel badass.

You know, there was a Finnish sniper, who whilst defending Finland against Soviet Russia, got nicknamed "White Death".

The Russians tried using artillery on places they thought he might be, and they tried setting other snipers to hunt him.

His jaw got shot off by one of those snipers, but he survived, and was rewarded with a new rifle.

He didn't use a scope either, because the sun might reflect off of the lense and show his position, and he stopped his breath steaming by holding snow in his mouth.

If I wanted an air soft, I'd probably try and get one modelled after a dark, dull grey, polymer framed, single action, 40 calibre, semi-automatic pistol, with a torch under the barrel.

Preferably made by a German, Austrian, Belgian, Swiss, or maybe Russian manufacturer.

Does anyone know which guns fit that description?

Yeah I know about that guy, pretty much the most badass sniper ever to exist. I also like the idea of being all bolt-action, no sights, while everyone else runs around with their high-cap, high RoF, high FPS, holosight M4 carbines. Blegh. Those guns are everywhere.

Can you give some examples? I'm not sure what kind of gun you're describing. Is it a pistol converted into a carbine or something?

No, just an imaginary pistol.

I'm not sure how you'd go about converting a pistol into a carbine, you'd have to make it compatible with rifle rounds, otherwise the closest you could get to "carbine" would be "sub-machine-gun"

I know what you mean about those M4 carbines with the holo-sights being over-used, remember in the Bourne Identity that scene in the embassy, where the cops try and hunt him down with carbines instead of SMGs?

While I'm sure rifle rounds would be plenty effective on Bourne, they can be accidentally fired through the walls and hit unseen civilians, or even team-mates, so whoever's arming them is either an idiot or just doesn't give a damn.

That's why SMGs' are used in buildings where there are people you don't want to shoot, they use pistol rounds instead.

Used to have some weird-ass AK-47/SVD hybrid. Had an SVD foregrip, stock and barrel but an AK receiver. It looked a total fucking pigs ear to be honest, it was heavy, unbalanced and too long, and you'd always bang it on trees and stuff.

I ended up buying one of those hi-cap drum mags for it so at least I could pretend it was an RPK or something, as opposed to the ugly bastard child of of an AK and a sniper rifle.

Despite the long external barrel, the internal one was only as long as an AK, so it had no real advantage in range. It was a load of shit to be honest, but it did me well enough for the 2-3 years I did Airsoft, before I moved on to playing with real guns.

What the hell is that even meant to be?
